On May 6, 2019, the City Council adopted amendments to the Shoreline Master Program and adopted a Restoration Plan. These will go into effect after the state Department of Ecology approves them (which will happen no later than 6/30/19.)
The City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 15 at 7:00 pm in Council Chambers on the proposed periodic review amendments to the City’s Shoreline Master Program and on the proposed Restoration Plan.
The Planning Commission will take action on the periodic review of the Lakewood Shoreline Master Program and the adoption of the Restoration Plan on Wednesday, March 20 at 6:30 pm in the City Council Chambers (6000 Main St SW, Lakewood)

On March 6 at 6:30 pm, the Lakewood Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the proposed amendments to the city’s Shoreline Master Program in the Council Chambers at Lakewood City Hall (6000 Main St. SW, 1st floor.)
Lakewood will hold a second Open House to present the draft amendments to the City’s Shoreline Master Program per the state -required periodic review process. The event will be held at City Hall in the Council Chambers (6000 Main St. SW, 1st floor.)
